iPhone: Change iPod Menu Buttons
In the iPhone iPod mode, the buttons on the bottom of the screen serve to allow you quick access to your favorite media type. If your favorite media type isn't listed, here is how to put it there.In iPod mode, the iPhone's button menu contains common ways you might like to select your media--songs, playlists, videos, etc. However, to pick by other common formats you must go through the More menu selection.
If you want to place one of these other formats, such as Audio books or podcasts, on the menu, here is what you need to do.
1. From the phone menu, click the iPod icon in the bottom right hand corner.
2. Now in iPod mode, select the More icon in the bottom right hand corner.
3. Select the Edit icon.

Using and manipulating the pictures on the iPhone allows one to easily integrate and customize their device. This tutorial shows a user how to assign a photo to either a contact or as the device's wallpaper.Getting pictures into the iPhone is a snap. You can pull pictures in from your apple or PC when you sync or you can just take pictures with the integrated camera. Either way, the method for using these pictures on your device is the same.
1. Goto the Photos section of your camera. Browse through the albums or camera roll until you find the picture you wish to use.

iPhone: How to Delete Email
With all the spam in this world, deleting email is a common part of life. Here I will describe the two different ways of deleting email from your iPhone.iPhone supports gmail, yahoo mail, .mac, and POP mail systems without any problems. Deleting email from an account can be done as follows:
1. Go into your email on your iPhone
2. Press the Edit icon in the upper right hand corner
3. Press the Red minus key beside the email you wish to delete.
4. Confirm your deletion by pressing the red delete key that appears to the right of the email message.
5. Press the Done icon in the upper right hand corner when finished.

Create a WebClip icon for the iPhone or iPod Touch
Webclip bookmarks are safari bookmarks that users can place on the home screen of the iPhone or iPod Touch. As a webmaster, you can control the appearance of this icon using the same method as favicon.ico is used. Webmasters are now used to creating favicons. For whatever reason, safari on iPhone / iPod Touch does not use the familiar favicon when making webclip bookmarks.
To specify a unique webclip bookmark do the following.
1. Create the icon with the following size 57x57 pixels. There is no reason to try to emulate the glass effect. The iPod Touch / iPhone software will create that for you on the viewer's end.
2. Name the icon: apple-touch-icon.png and place it in the root of your web-exposed directory.
If placed correctly, you will be able to view it using the following syntax in the browser:
http://www.yourserver.com/apple-touch-icon.png
