Copy Music from your iPod to your PC or MAC, for free

 Get your music back off of your iPod after a format, or for other not so legitimate reasons. This can be done with or without iTunes!I advise that you close down as many applications as possible as the files we are going to access can potentially corrupt all the music on your iPod. This is not a big deal if have it backed up somewhere, just simply format and start over, but it is a hassle. Use at your own risk.  These directions will allow you to put your fourth generation (4G) iPod into diagnostic mode. iPod Hack: Use the iPod headphones as a microphone

 Yes, iPod headphones are actually low quality microphones. Heres proof.I found this this to be quite interesting. There is one thing you might want to take note of: there are 2 models of headphones that apple has made. I have the older one with the longer end, or part where the jack is (whatever its called). The newer headphones have a much shorter jack area. If you don't know what I am talking about compare the 2. You'll enjoy a zillion ways to hack, test, and tweak your ipod from there.Many interesting iPod hacks start by starting your iPod's Diagnostics Mode. Here is how to do it. First, you'll need to reset or reboot your ipod. - Slide the Hold key to the right and then left. Then hold the menu and middle select buttons until it reboots.
