Internet Explorer 7: Open New Windows in Tabs in IE7
Either you use tabs or you don't. If you are a tab user, you will naturally want all your new windows and pop-ups to open in tabs. Right? Here is how to fix this default behavior.I believe there are two type of browser users. Either you have multiple browser windows open at once... or you would rather have multiple browser tabs open at once. Previously only firefox had the tab option; now IE7 users have it as well.
However, by default in IE7 tabs are enabled but a request for a new browser session opens a new window? Why?
If you hit CTRL and a link, you should expect a new tab to open, not a new window.
Here's how to have new windows and pop-ups to default to new tabs:
1. Open IE7
2. Click Tools
3. Click Internet Options
4. Click Settings
5. Select Always open pop-ups in new tab
6. Click OK until you are back in your browser
You can hold CTRL and click on a link to test. If setup correctly, that should open the link in a new tab instead of in a new window.... Read More

Clear Your Private Data After Every Browser Session?
We all usually sign out of a website but cleaning the private data and your Cache is as important!Cache is where your pages are stored for faster and easier viewing so that the browser doesn't need to download the page from the server all over again. FireFox also might have your passwords stored right on your computer
Lets just say you do a really important transaction using your credit card... and then you just close the window. Unfortunately the conformation page (most websites have one) with your credit card number etc. could still be saved on your computer. And then programmers can even get access to this private and important data. So every time you do something it is important to remove any private data.
But make sure that you only delete the necessary private data. Some stuff like your e-mail password might be unimportant to keep it on your hard drive!
To clear the important private data after every browser session follow these steps:

IE7: Move the Menu back to the Top of Internet Explorer
Since using the IE7, I have been unable to get used to the menu bar being between the tabs and navigation bar. This will move the menu back where it used to be.The one thing I love about Microsoft is that stuff typically stays in the same place--even across versions. However, IE7 is moving toolbars and the Menu around. This is likely because it is built with the Vista design in mind; however, for now it's driving me crazy.
Update:
The registry hack is probably not necessary now. Just right-click on a blank area of the tool bar and select Menu Bar. The old menu bar should appear. If not, you'll have to fallback to this old hack...
Quote: Please note that this was developed with IE7 beta. The final version may be different.
Here is the registry hack to move the Menu back to the top in IE7:
1. Click Start, Run, and then enter regedit into the runbox
2. Press ENTER or click OK
3. Browse to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser
